Cadbury Egg Blondies

Ingredients

 

  • 2 cups flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup brown sugar packed
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 egg
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 cups milk chocolate mini Cadbury eggs - Chop up 1½ cups of this and set aside.

 

 

Instructions

 

  • Mix dry ingredients in a medium sized mixing bowl, set aside.
  • Cream butter and sugars in mixer on medium/high until well combined.
  • Add vanilla and eggs to your mixer, mix well.
  • Slowly add 1/2 of your dry ingredients into mixer until combined. Then add the remaining dry ingredients and mix until combined. DON'T OVERMIX HERE!
  • Add 1½ cups of chopped Cadbury Eggs in mixer!
  • Pour your dough into a greased 9x9 pan and add your remaining unchopped ½ C of Cadbury Eggs on top as decoration.
  • Bake at 325F for 40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Let cool for 30-40 minutes before cutting.
  • ENJOY!
